Day 3 of the first Test had everything, a fighting century, another familiar Pakistan batting collapse, and a spirited fightback with the ball to keep the visitors alive in the contest.
Pakistan looked in complete control after Shan Masood reached a superb hundred and guided his side into a strong position. With the platform set, it seemed Pakistan would build a commanding lead.
But then came a script that Pakistan fans know all too well.
The middle and lower order crumbled under pressure as West Indies struck repeatedly to trigger another dramatic collapse. What looked like a comfortable advantage quickly disappeared, allowing the hosts to take the lead and seize the momentum.
Just when the game seemed to be slipping away, Pakistan's bowlers answered back in style.
Mohammad Abbas and the pace attack produced a disciplined spell late in the day, picking up regular wickets and refusing to let West Indies run away with the match. Their comeback ensured the Test remains wide open heading into Day 4.
With West Indies holding a lead but still having wickets in hand, the first session on Day 4 could prove decisive. Pakistan will look to wrap up the innings quickly and keep the chase within reach, while the hosts will be desperate to stretch their advantage.
